Can we all calm down when it comes to the racing? People get so heated if they get bumped even once and we all know there is a big difference between the accidental bump and grind that goes with any race and someone purposefully knocking you off the road. We're all becoming friends so maybe act like it and let it slide. I have to respectfully give my two cents on the new additions to the code of conduct concerning racing. Racing for $$ is all well and good but no one should be just letting anyone win regardless of their level. As for custom cars, we should again be using them whether against a level 1 or 100. If someone doesn't have a modded out super car and gets beat by one then they suck it up and save for a super car of their own. I'm almost level 90 I have no super car but I certainly don't expect those that saved to get one to leave it in the garage nor do I bitch when beaten. We're the old guys. We don't whine when we get beaten and we give no quarter to our opponents. And as for not blowing up people in gta races... Well thats just silly. If you don't want to possibly get exploded and there are only two of you then pick a standard race. If you're doing the gta race for the rp then realize you gotta earn those points and that comes with the possibility of getting blown up. Just my two cents.

I agree, particularly when you can set up a race which doesn't allow custom cars. If custom cars are on, I expect people to bring them. I only have a bike that's customized for racing, and a sports and coupe that are customized for missions, and if the custom option is on, well, that's why I spent the money on those vehicles. And, yeah, GTA races are GTA races.
The one thing that would be nice is if you could customize the join random race option - I'd like to be able to say "find me a motorbike race with customs on and traffic off" or "find me a coupe race". Given that upgrades unlock based on how much you race in a class of car, I think it should be easier to get into races of that class. I realize I can simply host, and typically I do, but man, sometimes it is hard to get a lobby of more than two or three guys going. Everyone wants to race supers.
And yeah, I agree about accidental bumping. I'm always waiting for that revenge PIT maneuver after I've accidentally collided with someone. It's not always avoidable, folks. Though I should say I've never had anyone in the crew do that to me.

I'm now rank 76 myself, and I can't say I've raced much past rank 20. I mainly raced to get certain mod unlocks... not a fan of GTA Racing myself, prefer missions and freeroam But I agree, GTA is a game where you should expect it to represent real life, hey-yo!
