It seems like our crew has a slight problem when it comes to accepting invites or sending them to other crew members. I can't speak for the Xbox folk (damn heathens) but on ps3 it feels like only a few folks are actively seeking to play the missions etc with other crew members. Now I'm sure part of it is that the game doesn't let you know that an invite is from crew or just a random but that can be alleviated (at least a bit) by everyone adding their names to our spreadsheet that sunburnthawk so kindly made for us and then adding those folks to your friends list. At least by adding them the your friends list you will have seen the name so it will be recognizable when an invite pops up. We have nearly 300 members and less than 40 have put their names in the spreadsheet. More crew on a job is more rp and way more fun. Also it would be good if folks got used to each other's play styles etc and who they enjoy playing with so that when the big heists become available our crew can rock it out with no problems. Just my two cents ladies and gents.

I could not imagine having the whole crew in my PSN list, I suggested earlier to add those who are in the same time zone, or add those you play with often.
As for accepting invites, there are moments where I accept the job the moment I get the invite, but R* says its full.
I am not ALWAYS down for missions, I just opened up armored cars and gang territories. So I am thinking of spending time in Free Roam.
I will do my best to deny if I can so you can invite more, OR I will send a message to get back to me next round.
Also, I really appreciate everyone who joins lower level jobs to help out other members.

I completely understand the not always wanting to do missions and not having the whole crew on your list and I hope I didn't come across as a dick about it. Just putting it out there. When you're in that invite screen and you see the same names getting invited and never accepting it starts to feel like they don't want to play with the group at all. Not trying to call anyone out or make waves just pointing out what I notice is all.

I personally think that's where its gonna take time for everyone to get to know who everyone else is. We'll see who is active in the community and who isn't which will let us open up more spots. As we weed people out we can slowly get more and more people in who stay active in the Old Guy community.

I agree with Bocephusbear. Lately I've been forced to open up matchmaking in order to fill up our lobbies. 90% of the time I spend online is done doing missions -- so I'm almost always down for missions. If I don't accept your invite it means that I'm either about to host one, waiting to join one, or simply am doing something else. Sounds good SunburntHawk! |

I believe there are still some network issues as I've also had problems getting into lobbies. Failed to Connect, Lobby is full, etc. I often get those messages. I try to take most job invites if I'm not actively doing something in Free Roam like selling cars, taking down an armored car or gang attack. Kenny knows I'm down for jobs, especially if he's driving lol.

anyone else run into this? Occasionally Ill accept an invite, get in the lobby, lobby fills up and when the mission starts I'm the only one in the mission! Doesn't happen all the time but I've had it happen a few times in the last week.
